How does it work?
Our Outside, fractional GC model is intended to provide businesses with the benefits of a dedicated legal department at an affordable fixed monthly subscription rate. CounselBridge Outside Counsels are business attorneys who offer part-time, on demand, corporate legal services to our business clients at a fraction of the cost of either hiring a full-time, in-house counsel or relying on traditional law firms. Clients typically develop a working relationship with one CounselBridge lawyer and have access to the whole team for specific subject-matter experience.
What are your Fees?
CounselBridge alternative fee structure is centered on flexibility, predictability, and access to legal services without breaking the bank. We offer various subscription plans depending the client's business needs. Clients are typically billed monthly based on the selected fee plan. Please ask us about for our pricing plans here.
Is there a minimum subscription commitment period?
No. We are committed to making every engagement as flexible and seamless as possible. You can cancel at any time with written notice. We also conduct quarterly review of our clients' use of our services and adjust the subscription plan according to the business's needs
Is CounselBridge the right fit for my business ?
Companies who engage CounselBridge typically like the predictable fixed monthly rate model. They fall into two main categories: (1) those who need regular, on-going legal support but do not wish to hire or add a full-time in-house lawyer to their staff, and (2) those who already have one or more law firms that they typically use, but find those firms too expensive (and probably not fast enough in responding) to use for their day-to-day legal work.
How do you customize your services for niche companies?
Our services are comprehensive with a focus on a long-term relationship and growth. From the onset, a CounselBridge attorney is prepared to review your company’s agreements and operational documents and like an in-house lawyer, meet with the management team to understand your business, its internal systems and external relationships, its strategies and risk tolerance, and identify areas for improvement. Like an in-house counsel, CounselBridge Attorneys can be reachable by email (on your company email system if needed), by phone or video conference, and take other steps to be part of your management team.
How is CounselBridge different from a traditional law firm?
CounselBridge is affiliated with the law firm Mumbere Law PLC, however it focuses on offering services on a subscription basis through a proprietary legal services platform that provides businesses of different sizes and locations with a virtual legal department and a dedicated business attorney to provide legal counsel and support on an ongoing basis.
Do you provide services in my state?
Yes! We serve clients across the United States, and provide US-based support to foreign, global companies registered in the U.S. or seeking U.S. registration.
